Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini telah mengimplementasikan layanan GPRS dengan OSMOCOM (Open Source Mobile Communication) untuk daerah yang tidak tercover oleh sinyal. Dikembangkan metode mendesain jaringan infrastruktur layanan GPRS, agar wilayah yang tidak tercover oleh sinyal dapat menikmati layanan internet melalui jaringan seluler dan layanan GPRS. Dilakukan pengujian terhadap layanan GPRS. Hasilnya, layanan GPRS dapat dijalankan melalui smartphone. Pengguna dapat mengakses jaringan seluler dan GPRS melalui jaringan yang dipancarkan melalui USRP. Smartphone terhubung ke internet melalui melalui APN. Kata Kunci: OSMOCOM, GPRS, Open Source.
