Kubernetes Infrastructure Design For Data Center Infrastructure Application Management (Dcim) Case Study Pt. Indonesian National Shipping (Pelni)

Abstract

In the digital era, PT Pelayaran Nasional
Indonesia (PELNI) must strengthen its
IT infrastructure to manage data efficiently, safely,
evaluating Kubernetes infrastructure based on
microservices-based Kubernetes infrastructure for Data Center
Infrastructure Management (DCIM) application. The process
includes requirement identification, architecture
architecture, Kubernetes cluster setup, and deployment of the
deployment of the application as a separate service.
The results show that Kubernetes improves
operational efficiency and data center availability
PT.PELNI data center, while the microservices architecture
architecture enables services that are more fault tolerant,
scalable, and maintainable, as well as identifying technical challenges and opportunities.
