Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Virtual Reality Untuk Smart Mannequin dan Smart Weapon Rack

Abstract

Abstrak — Proyek penelitian Smart Mannequin dan Smart
Weapon Rack merupakan proyek riset dari COE STAS RG
yang memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things (Iot) untuk
meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna dan keamanan
inventaris senjata militer. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah
ketidak terserdiaan perangkat fisik saat masa perbaikan,
sehingga menghambat penyampaian informasi kepada pihak
luar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi Virtual
Reality (VR) berbasis Unity versi 6 untuk menyajikan informasi
tentang Smart Mannequin dan Smart Weapon Rack secara
fleksibel dan interaktif. Aplikasi VR ini dirancang
menggunakan metodologi Multimedia Development Life Cycle
(MDLC) dengan enam tahapan: concept, design, material
collecting, assembly, testing dan distribution. Dengan
memanfaatkan VR Headset Meta Quest 2, aplikasi ini
menciptakan pengalaman imersif yang memungkinkan
pengguna untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai kedua proyek
tersebut dengan representasi digital yang akurat dan
antarmuka yang informatif.
