Optimasi Jaringan 3g (umts/wcdma) Pada Area Alun-alun Kantor Gubernur Provinsi Lampung Untuk Operator Telkomsel

Abstract

Abstrak Jaringan 3G dengan keunggulan akses data kecepatan tinggi mengusung fitur-fitur voice call, video call serta internet mobile untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Dengan semakin banyaknya penyedia layanan maka kualitas dari pelayanan tentu harus ditingkatkan untuk mengatasi persaingan. Kegagalankegagalan fungsi jaringan harus dibenahi untuk menghadirkan kualitas jaringan yang lebih optimal. KPI (Key Performance Indicator) pada jaringan radio 3G (UMTS/WCDMA) yang tidak sesuai dengan passing criteria akan menyebabkan masalah yang terjadi dalam jaringan seperti kegagalan koneksi, kualitas sinyal yang tidak baik, dan lain sebagainya. Proyek akhir ini melakukan peneletian masalah dalam jaringan yang terjadi akibat site overshoot pada jaringan 3G untuk operator TSEL area alun-alun kantor gubernur provinsi Lampung. Adapun proyek akhir dilakukan dengan bekerjasama dengan PT. Telkomsel Telecommunication Center Lampung untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja jaringan dengan menganalisa data yang didapatkan berdasarkan hasil drive test dan menentukan langkah optimasi. Dari data hasil drive test maka diperoleh parameter-parameter dalam kualitas jaringan 3G (UMTS/WCDMA) untuk dilakukan optimasi yang lebih baik dan sesuai yang diharapkan pada studi kasus. The final project is conducting research in a network problem that occurs due to overshoot site on the 3G network Telkomsel operator in the area of the square Lampung provincial governor's office. The final project is done in cooperation with PT. Telkomsel Lampung to optimize network performance by analyzing the data obtained based on the results of the drive test. From the data, the drive test results obtained parameters in the quality of the 3G network (UMTS / WCDMA) to do better optimization and as expected in the case study.
