Penerapan Teknologi Virtualisasi Menggunakan Virtual Private Server Pada Seal Online Guardian Forest

Abstract

Abstrak Game online saat ini tidak hanya menjadi sebuah hal yang bisa dikembangkan oleh publisher besar saja, namun publisher kecil bahkan perorangan bisa mengembangkannya. Permasalahan sumber daya yang menjadi masalah utama dalam membangun sebuah server seakan terpecahkan ketika teknologi virtualisasi muncul. Dengan teknologi virtualisasi ini, memungkinkan sebuah server game online berjalan walaupun dengan sumber daya yang terbatas. Tujuan daripada proyek akhir ini adalah untuk membangun sebuah server game online dengan menggunakan konsep virtual private server. VPS menggunakan fitur microsoft hyper-v dengan windows 7 32 bit sebagai sistem operasinya. Kata Kunci : Virtualisasi , Virtual Private Server , Game Online Abstract Current game online has not only become a thing that can be developed by a major publisher, but the small publisher even individuals can develop it. The problem of resources become the main problem in building a server. But when virtualization technology is found the problem seeming to missing.With virtualization technology, allowing an online game server running in spite of limited resources. The purpose of this final project is to build an online game server with users the concept of virtual private server. VPS using microsoft hyperv with windows 7 32 bit as the system operations.
