Optimalisasi Kain Lurik Dengan Teknik Zero Waste Pada Busana Modest Wear

Abstract

Abstrack  The zero-waste technique is an effort to optimize the use of cloth in the process of making clothes. Clothing Design with zero-waste techniques has existed in the cultures of various countries before, but this technique is still approved recently and not many designers and fashion agents have applied zero-waste techniques. This study uses qualitative comparison with literature studies, observations, and interviews about supporting data collection by examining the zero-waste pattern technique in simple clothing. Using the square-cut method that simplifies the formation of fashion patterns, so that it can use fabric optimally. This study uses lurik woven fabric that has a width of 110cm, the visualization of this study consists of four (4) simple looks using the main material of lurik which can be an alternative to eco-friendly clothing and a reference for making fashion and society especially in Indonesia.
