Penerapan Embellishment Pada Busana Wanita Plus Size Terinspirasi Dari Jam Gadang

Abstract

Abstract   Embellishment is an ornament that can add beauty and elegance to clothing or a product. Embellishment is usually applied in haute couture or demi couture fashion to give a luxurious impression on each of his clothes. In Indonesia, fashion plus size is still relatively difficult to obtain because of its relatively expensive price, less varied on the design and only takes place on the type of Fashion day – day. One of the factors that need to be considered in the design of fashion plus size is how to adjust the female body type plus size with a nice piece of clothing and detail. This research is done by qualitative and quantitative methods using beading techniques and conducting data search with literature study and interview of interviewees in Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research is to create novelty and expand this idea in fashion designing for women plus size for couture that will be added application detail embellishments inspired from Jam Gadang, Bukittingi.
