Penyutradaraan Film Dokumenter Mengenai Kondisi Lurik Atbm (alat Tenun Bukan Mesin) Di Pedan

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pedan is one of the sub-districts located in Klaten Regency and is famous for the production of striated fabrics using ATBM (non-machine loom) in Central Java province. The striated fabric itself has a good potential if it is processed into a fashion product because it has a variety of colors and motifs and distinctive features. But along with the development of technology, there are now weaving machines that use the engine power dynamo. And precisely the decline in the level of striated producers who still use ATBM. Weaving itself is also one of Indonesian culture that must be preserved. The purpose of this research, namely to re-introduce ATBM striated weaving to the public so that weaving striated still using ATBM can be preserved again and invite young children to get to revisit ATBM striated weaving for easy In regenerating young weavers. Data collection is done by qualitative method by interview, observation, and library study. Analyze data using case study analysis. Media information to be made to reintroduce ATBM Striated is directing the documentary film Striated which will display the history, the process of making, the type of motifs and festivals Klaten striated using the foundation of direction theory, color Grading, direct of photography and documentary film Theory. The result of this research is the directorial documentary on the Striated condition of ATBM (non-machine loom) in Pedan is expected to be a media information for the district of Pedan in the striated ATBM, besides this documentary can also be a Cultural assets for Klaten Regency.
