Pengembangan Busana Lurik Pada Modest Fashion Dengan Metode Zero Waste Pattern Design
Abstract
ABSTRACT Currently there are many trends that develop, one of which is the fashion modest that is in vogue in the world, including Indonesia. Indonesia is expected to become the center of world fashion modest in 2020 (Ichsan, 2018). From these data, it proves that Indonesian people are increasingly aware of fashion and are carried by current trends due to the development of modest fashion. As a result, people prefer ready to wear clothing compared to traditional clothing. One of the traditional clothing of Yogyakarta is surjan and kebaya clothing made with traditional cloth, lurik. However, community interest in striated cloth has not been fully sought by all circles. In this study, an analysis of fashion patterns using the zero waste pattern design method in fashion modest fashion with striated fabric aims to develop ready to wear clothing with striated material through the development of modest fashion and can minimize fabric waste from the development of modest fashion. The end result of this research is ready to wear clothing. Keyword : Modest fashion, woven fabric lurik, zero waste pattern design.Downloads
