Abstract

ABSTRACT Synthetic leather is a man-made material that looks exactly like the genuine leather. Based on observation and interviews, synthetic leather are usually made as jacket, bottom, wallet, and belt. Other than that, synthetic leather made as fashion items category are still limited. Then an explorations and analysis on synthetic leather are carried on with some processing technique such as manipulating fabric which gives a results of 3D effects and decorative effects. And can be applied to a clothing as embellishment by composing it with a design principles as the foundation. And then concepting the clothing design with the inspiration of white jasmine flower and private wedding, and ballgown silhouette which can be removed easily.
