Pengolahan Limbah Pasca Produksi Home Industry Kebaya Bali Menjadi Produk Fashion

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia memiliki beragam busana adat, salah satunya kebaya. Kebaya bukan hanya sekedar pakaian namun juga perwujudan dari kesederhaan masyarakat Indonesia yang memancarkan kehalusan, dan perilaku wanita yang lembut, seperti kebaya Bali yang memiliki ciri khas dan filosofi yang sangat kental akan kebudayaan. Kebaya berpotensi untuk menyumbang limbah yang cukup signifikan berupa sisa kain produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengolah kembali material limbah pra produksi kembali ke ruang produksi untuk keberlanjutan pemakaiannya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemanfaatan limbah pra produksi home industry kebaya Bali dengan metode recycle menjadi produk fashion dengan teknik tekstil surface design. Kata Kunci : Budaya Bali, Limbah Pra Produksi Kebaya, Surface Textille Design. ABSTRACT Indonesia has a diverse fashion custom, one of them is kebaya. Kebaya is not only a clothes but also a manifestation of the simplicity of Indonesian people which exudes subtlety, and gentle women's behavior, such as kebaya Bali which has a characteristic and philosophy of the highly viscous culture. Kebaya has the potential to contribute waste is quite significant in the form of the remaining pieces of fabric production. The purpose of this research is to reprocess the good quality of production waste material back into the production room to the sustainability of its use. This research used qualitative method. The conclusion of this research is the utilization of waste pre-production home industry kebaya Bali with a method of recycle to be fashion products, with the technique of surface textille design.
