Perancangan Aplikasi Mahasiswa Coass Kedokteran Gigi Di Kota Bandung

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu permasalahan kesehatan yang sedang digalakkan di Indonesia ialah permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Hal ini dipicu dari tingkat konsumsi masyarakat yang tinggi namun tidak disertai dengan kepedulian individual terhadap gigi dan mulut. Tak hanya itu, permasalahan biaya dokter gigi yang cukup mahal juga menjadi salah satu faktor kurang peduli masyarakat akan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Beriringan dengan itu, kebutuhan tenaga kerja ahli dokter gigi pun juga meningkat. Namun, kesulitan dalam masa studi mahasiswa untuk menjadi tenaga ahli dokter gigi membuat Indonesia masih kurang dalam jasa di bidang kedokteran gigi. Hal tersebut dipicu oleh problematik selama masa ko-asistensi atau praktik klinik pasca perkuliahan, yakni kesulitan mendapatkan pasien untuk pemenuhan praktik kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi seluler yang diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa kedokteran gigi, di Bandung, untuk mendapatkan pasien yang sesuai requirements praktik. Selain itu, perancangan aplikasi ini diharapkan pula dapat membantu pasien dalam menemukan ketersediaan jasa perawatan gigi dan mulut dengan biaya yang lebih murah. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mewawancarai tenaga ahli kedokteran gigi, ahli desain dan user interface, dilanjutkan dengan penyebaran kuesioner untuk mendapatkan kebutuhan user aplikasi. Hasil data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis hingga mendapatkan konsep perancangan user interface aplikasi untuk mahasiswa kedokteran gigi di Bandung. This problem is triggered by the high amount of consumption with lesser amount of individual attention to health. Problems about the high costs of dentist compared to most of Indonesian’s relative income is also one of many problems neglecting the health of dental and oral health. The needs of human resources for dentistry is also rising. But, the hardship in the process of dentistry students to become dentists makes Indonesia have fewer amounts of dentist than needed. This problem is triggered by problems faced during co-assistance or pre-clinic post-college, which one of the obstacles is the exhausting process of looking for patients. This purpose of this research is to design a mobile application that can help dentistry students in Bandung, to get patients easier, reliably, and appropriate for the needed requirements. On the other hand, this mobile application can also help the patients to find services provided by dentists with minimal costs. The methodology used to gather data are interviews with dentists, user interface and user experience designer, then a questionnaire to gather information about the specific application needs. The result of the data will be analyzed to get the concept design of user interface for the mobile application for the dentistry students in Bandung.
