Perancangan Kampanye Kesehatan Cara Mencegah Penyakit Leptospirosis Di Kota Bekasi

Abstract

ABSTRAK Banjir merupakan suatu masalah yang sampai saat ini masih perlu adanya penanganan khusus dari berbagai pihak, baik dari pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Kota Bekasi adalah salah satu kota dengan banjir terparah di Tahun 2020. Menurut Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bekasi ada 12 titik yang terdampak banjir pada 1 Januari 2020. Hal ini terjadi karena banyaknya pembangunan yang ada di Kota Bekasi mengakibatkan kurangnya resapan air di Kota Bekasi, lalu curah hujan yang tinggi mengakibatkan potensi banjir, dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Salah satu penyakit yang berbahaya timbul saat banjir di Kota Bekasi adalah leptospirosis. Penyakit Leptospirosis adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Leptospira Interrogans yang disebarkan melalui urine atau darah hewan yang terinfeksi bakteri ini. Beberapa jenis hewan yang dapat menjadi pembawa leptospirosis adalah anjing, hewan pengerat seperti tikus, dan kelompok hewan ternak seperti babi, sapi, kambing, dan hewan ternak lainnya. Menurut data yang didapatkan dari Kementrian Kesehatan RI untuk daerah Jawa Barat dari awal tahun hingga akhir tahun 2019, sebanyak 32 orang yang terkena penyakit leptospirosis dengan jumlah penderita terbanyak umur 19 – 39 tahun. Fenomena inilah yang mendorong penulis untuk merancang sebuah kampanye kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk dapat memberikan informasi dan edukasi tentang penyakit leptospirosis mulai dari penyebab, dampak, hingga pencegahan yang tepat terhadap masyarakat Kota Bekasi. Berbagai macam media yang akan digunakan pada saat ini untuk menjelaskan secara tepat dan mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat Kota Bekasi yang belum mengetahui tentang penyakit tersebut. Bekasi City is one of the cities with the worst floods in 2020. According to the Bekasi City Health Office, 12 points were affected by flooding on January 1, 2020. This occurred because the large number of developments in Bekasi City resulted in a lack of water absorption in Bekasi City, then the bulk high rains result in the potential for flooding, and a lack of public awareness of disposing of garbage properly. One of the dangerous diseases that arise during floods in Bekasi City is leptospirosis. Leptospirosis is a disease caused by the Leptospira Interrogans bacteria which is spread through the urine or blood of animals infected with these bacteria. Several types of animals that can be carriers of leptospirosis are dogs, rodents such as rats, and livestock groups such as pigs, cows, goats, and other livestock. According to data obtained from the Indonesian Ministry of Health for the West Java region from the beginning of the year to the end of 2019, 32 people were affected by leptospirosis with the highest number of sufferers aged 19 - 39 years. This phenomenon is what prompted the author to design a health campaign that aims to provide information and education about leptospirosis, starting from its causes, effects, and proper prevention of the people of Bekasi City.
