Perancangan Interior Co-working Space Untuk Wisatawan Mice Di Kota Denpasar

Abstract

ABSTRACT The city of Denpasar, Bali, has become one of the main destinationsfor MICE tourism in Indonesia because of its unique combination of culture and natural beauty (Dinas Pariwisata Kota Denpasar). To be able to support the activities of MICE tourists, they need facilities to accommodate their “work/business and leisure†activities which include meetings, conferences, exhibitions, to the main thing which is doing work or business activities, without having to lose their “vacation†moments. After conducting an online survey, one of the facilities that can accommodate the activities of MICE tourists is a co-working space. Sanur, is administratively located in Denpasar City. Sanur is well known for its natural beauty, namely Sanur Beach. Referring to the research results of the Dinas Pariwisata Kota Denpasar, Sanur is also the main tourist destination for MICE tourists in Denpasar City with as many as 40% of the total respondents. In addition, after conducting a brief online research, there is a problem where the facilities provided in co-working spacesin Denpasar City, especially Sanur, are not flexible enough to accommodate user activities and interior elements that do not pay attention to comfort which can af ect work productivity (Ni Kade Ari Yunita, 2017). This supports realizing the design of a co-working space in Denpasar City, in Sanur to be precise, for MICE tourists. The above problems can be solved with a spatial psychological approach, while the theme and concept implemented is the theme "Productive Escape in Sanur" with the concept of "stress-free environment". These themes and concepts are derived from the mind mapping process of MICE tourists, which is a combination of work or business activities and leisure, which can be interpreted as a vacation. With the theme, the concept and approach used, it is expected that this can create public co-working space facilities that can accommodate the activities of MICE tourists to work and do business, without losing their vacation moments. Keywords: Denpasar City, Sanur, Co-working space, MICE tourism ABSTRAK Kota Denpasar, Bali, menjadi salah satu daerah tujuan utama wisata MICE di Indonesia karena kombinasi budaya dan keindahan alamnya yang unik (Dinas Pariwisata Kota Denpasar). Untuk dapat mendukung kegiatan wisatawan MICE tersebut, dibutuhkan fasilitas yang dapat mewadahi aktivitas “work/business and leisure†mereka yang meliputi meeting, konferensi, eksebisi, hingga yang utama adalah kegiatan mengerjakan pekerjaan, tanpa harus kehilangan momen “berlibur†mereka. Setelah melakukan survey secara daring, salah satu fasilitas yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan wisatawan MICE tersebut adalah co-working space. Sanur, secara administratif masuk ke dalam Kota Denpasar. Sanur terkenal akan keindahan alamnya, yaitu Pantai Sanur. Mengacu kepada hasil penelitian Dinas Pariwisata Kota Denpasar, Sanur juga merupakan tujuan wisata utama para wisatawan MICE di Kota Denpasar dengan pemilih sebanyak 40% dari total responden. Selain itu, setelah melakukan riset singkat secara daring, didapat permasalahan dimana fasilitas yang disediakan pada co-working space di Kota Denpasar, khususnya Sanur, tidak cukup fleksibel mewadahi aktivitas pengguna dan elemen interior yang kurang memperhatikan kenyamanan yang dapat berpengaruh ke produktivitas kerja (Ni Kade Ari Yunita, 2017). Hal ini mendukung untuk mewujudkan perancangan co-working space di Kota Denpasar, tepatnya di Sanur, untuk wisatawan MICE. Permasalahan di atas dapat diselesaikan dnegan pendekatan psikologi ruang, sedangkan tema dan konsep yang diimplementasikan adalah tema “Productive Escape in Sanur†dengan konsep “stressfree environmentâ€. Tema dan konsep ini didapat dari proses pemetaan dari wisatawan MICE yang merupakan perpaduan dari kegiatan bekerja atau bisnis dan waktu luang atau leisure, yang dapat diartikan sebagi liburan. Dengan tema konsep dan pendekatan yang digunakan, diharapkan dapat mewujudkan fasilitas public co-working space yang dapat mewadahi aktivitas dan kegiatan wisatawan MICE untuk bekerja dan berbisnis, tanpa menghilangkan momen berlibur mereka.
