Visualisasi Food Loss Pada Buah Dalam Photo Story Photography

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Melalui karya tugas akhir yang berjudul <Visualisasi Food Loss pada Buah Dalam Photo
Story Photography= penulis bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan bagaimana fenomena food loss
yang ada pada buah terbentuk ke dalam suatu medium foto. Untuk memperkuat data yang akan
dipergunakan dalam laporan ini, penulis melakukan observasi lapangan di daerah sekitar Telkom
University. Sedangkan rumusan masalah dari laporan pengkaryaan ini, yaitu bagaimana food loss
pada buah dapat tervisualisasikan melalui photo story photography. Melalui karya ini hasil yang
didapatkan dari penciptaan karya, yaitu bahwasanya setiap proses eksekusi karya memakan waktu
berhari-hari hingga berminggu-minggu tergantung dari jenis buahnya. Pada buah yang memiliki
kadar air tinggi cenderung memakan waktu yang lebih cepat hingga akhirnya proses food loss dapat
terbentuk. Hal ini juga dipengaruhi dari tektur masing-masing buah yang menghasilkan waktu
eskekusi karya menjadi bervariatif. Selama melakukan proses eksekusi karya, penulis
menggabungkan dua teknik fotografi antara teknik photo story photography dan juga teknik timelapse fotografi. Dari penciptaan karya ini maka setidaknya visualisasi pada fenomena food loss yang
ada pada buah dapat tergambarkan.

ABSTRACT: Through the final project entitled "Visualization of Food Loss on Fruits in Photo Story Photography" the author aims to visualize how the phenomenon of food loss in fruit is formed into a photo medium. To strengthen the data that will be used in this report, the authors conducted field observations in the area around Telkom University. While the formulation of the problem from this work report, namely how food loss in fruit can be visualized through photo story photography. Through this work, the results obtained from the creation of the work, namely that each process of execution of the work takes days to weeks depending on the type of fruit. Fruits that have a high water content tend to take a faster time until finally the food loss process can be formed. This is also influenced by the texture of each fruit which results in varied execution times. During the execution process, the author combines two photographic techniques, namely photo story photography techniques and also time-lapse photography techniques. From the creation of this work, at least the visualization of the phenomenon of food loss in fruit can be described. Keywords : Food Loss, Fruits, Time-lapse, Photo Story Photography.
