Pengaplikasian Teknik Draping Dan Convertible Dress Pada Adibusana Menggunakan Tenun Lurik Yogyakarta

ABSTRAK
Lurik weaving is one of the traditional fabric of Yogyakarta, which is currently under threat of extinction due to many textile factories that are easier and cheaper Lurik fabric taken as a striated potentially namely woven fabric which has the motive is simple but has its own exotic among the people and giving the impression of ethnic. Intake of Lurik fabric also aims to lift the local economy, especially the area of Bantul and Klaten.
Lurik fabric will be realized into haute couture using draping techniques and convertible dress. Draping technique is arranging the fabric without cutting out the pattern in advance, therefore the manufacturing directly on the mannequin. The addition of convertible dress that later can dress multi-function that allows one dress can be transformed into the desired model.
