Eksperimen Penggabungan Motif Batik Jlamprang Dan Kain Re-woven Batik Untuk Busana

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pekalongan has a typical batik motif of Jlamprang and batik re-woven fabric. Re-woven batik is a technique of re-woven fabric that has been batik with a handloom, the end of which still has a batik motif, but the texture is like a woven cloth. Jlamprang Pekalongan batik motifs and batik re-woven are taken because both have the potential to be collaborated. Making textile design using the research method, namely observation by visiting Ridaka directly who made batik rewoven fabric and an interview with Ridaka manager, Mr. Nazie Kadir. Then study literature by searching for books and journals related to topics that support research. The motifs of jlamprang batik and batik re-woven fabric will be combined into one by conducting several experiments, namely batik motifs on the batik re-woven fabric with coloring and pelorodan. The fabric produced will be applied to clothing in the form of sarong (skirt) and shawl which shows the typical nuances of Pekalongan with bright colors like Pekalongan batik, red, yellow, orange and green.
