Perancangan Buku Ilustrasi Edukasi Permainan Tradisional Sunda Tanpa Alat Untuk Anak 7-12 Tahun

Abstract

Abstrak :
Pada zaman dahulu, permainan tradisional sering dimainkan oleh anak-anak, ketika belum mengenal teknologi
dan elektronik modern, anak-anak bisa menikmati kegembiraan dan kebersamaan. Kini, masih menyisakan
beberapa jenis permainan tradisonal yang ada, anak-anak hanya mendengar istilah permainannya saja.
Kebanyakan dari mereka tidak mengetahui bagaimana permainan tradisional dimainkan sebab kurangnya
sosialisasi permainan tradisional kepada anak, dan media informasi yang berupaya mendekatkan anak dengan
permainan tradisional pun masih terbatas. Selain itu, saat ini anak-anak dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan
elektronik modern yang berperan penting dalam kehidupan anak. Hal ini menyebabkan kemampuan interaksi
sosial anak menurun dan cenderung individualis. Oleh karena itu, membuat buku ilustrasi sebagai salah satu
media efektif pengenalan jenis permainan tradisional, serta keterlibatan banyak pihak untuk terus
mensosialisasikan permainan tradisional masih sangat dibutuhkan. Dalam pengumpulan data-data yang
diperoleh sebagai pendukung dalam proses perancangan buku ilustrasi dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif,
yaitu melakukan wawancara bersama narasumber yang berkaitan dengan permainan tradisional, observasi di
lapangan sekolah dan mempelajari studi pustaka sehingga melakukan analisis matriks dan SWOT. Permainan
tradisional yang relevan bagi anak-anak bukan hanya sebagai upaya pelestarian, tapi bisa meneruskan sosialisasi
permainan
tradisional
kepada
anak
melalui
buku
ilustrasi
yang
bermanfaat
untuk
anak
dan
diharapkan

dapat
membudayakan
permainan
tradisonal
sekaligus
mengedukasi
anak-anak.

Abstract :
in the past, traditional games were often played by children, when they were unfamiliar with modern and
electronic technology, children could enjoy fun and togetherness. Now, still leaving some types of traditional
games, children only hear the term game. Most of them do not know how traditional games are played due to
the lack of socialization of traditional games to children, and information media that try to bring children closer
to traditional games are still limited. In addition, today children are influenced by the development of modern
electronics which play an important role in the lives of children. This causes the ability of children's social
interaction to decline and tend to be individualistic. Therefore, making picture books as one of the effective
media for the introduction of traditional types of games, as well as the involvement of many parties to continue
to socialize traditional games, is still very much needed. In collecting data obtained as a supporter in the
process of designing picture books using qualitative methods, namely conducting interviews with sources 

related to traditional games, observing in the school field and studying literature studies so that they can do
matrix analysis and SWOT. Traditional games that are relevant for children are not only conservation efforts,
but can continue to socialize traditional games with children through illustrative books that are useful for
children and are expected to develop traditional games while educating children.
