Abstract

The increasing mobility of young couples with infants, particularly during travel, has driven the growing demand for practical and efficient diaper bags. These users often face challenges in carrying various baby necessities—such as milk bottles, diapers, and changing supplies—while maintaining ease of access and organization. This study aims to design a diaper bag that meets the specific spatial and ergonomic needs of traveling parents. A qualitative approach, combined with a User-Centered Design (UCD) framework, is used to collect data through interviews and observational studies, focusing on user preferences, usage patterns, and spatial challenges. The data is analyzed using AI-based clustering and pattern recognition methods to identify optimal compartment configurations, including the ideal number, size, placement, and accessibility of storage spaces. The results are expected to offer insights into effective space organization strategies and serve as a foundation for design recommendations tailored to the real needs of modern mobile families.
