Analisis Perbaikan Sistem Informasi Akademik Menggunakan Pendekatan Web Usability Dan Importance Perfomance Analysis (studi Kasus: I-gracias Universitas Telkom Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Rekayasa Industri)

Abstract

Abstrak Seiring bertumbuhnya dunia modern yang terus berkembang, teknologi informasi dan sistem informasi merupakan dua hal yang telah banyak digunakan di semua bidang termasuk bidang pendidikan dalam memproses, mendapatkan, menyusun, menyimpan dan juga memanipulasi data dalam menghasilkan keluaran berupa informasi yang dapat digunakan. Sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi berbasis ICT, Universitas Telkom merupakan salah satu dari beberapa Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang mengembangkan teknologi informasi dan memanfaatkan sistem informasi untuk dapat menjadi perguruan tinggi bertaraf iternasional yang bersaing. Proses akses I-Gracias sendiri bukan tanpa kendala dan masih banyak terdapat beberapa keluhan. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi web usability yang terdapat pada I-Gracias Universitas Telkom pada menu yang digunakan oleh pengguna sebagai mahasiswa untuk diperbaiki menggunakan importance performance analysis berdasarkan dimensi learnability, memorability, efficiency, error dan satisfaction dengan indikator yang ada pada kuesioner NAU dan diberikan rekomendasi usulan perbaikan berdasarkan integrasi metode web usability dan importance performance analysis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap dimensi web usability diperoleh 4 indikator yang perlu ditingkatkan dan beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan yang diusulkan untuk mengembangkan performa dari sistem informasi akademik I-Gracias Universitas Telkom. As one of the ICT-based tertiary institutions, Telkom University is one of the few Private Universities that develops information technology and utilizes information systems to become competitive international standard universities. The access of IGracias itself is not without constraints and there are still many complaints. This research aims to identify the usability web found in Telkom University I-Gracias on the menu used by users as students to be improved using importance performance analysis based on the dimensions of learnability, memorability, efficiency, error and satisfaction with the indicators on the NAU questionnaire and given recommendations for improvement recommendations based on the integration of web usability and importance performance analysis methods Based on the results of the research on the web usability dimensions obtained 4 indicators that need to be improved and some recommendations for improvements proposed to develop the performance of Telkom University I-Gracias academic information system.
