Perancangan Material Handling Equipment Pada Proses Mobilisasi Sampah Plastik Menggunakan Metode Ergonomic Function Deployment Pada Bank Sampah Hijau Lestari

Abstract

Abstrak Sampahplastik merupakan bendayangumum dansering dijumpai di berbagaisudut dunia. Setiap tahunnya masyarakat terus meningkatkan konsumsi terhadap sampah plastik, tetapi tidakdiimbangi denganpengelohan sampahyang konprehensif. BankSampah HijauLestari adalahsalahsatupengelola sampah yang mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, terlebih sampah plastik. Pengelolaan yang dilakukan Bank Sampah tersebut dilalui dengan proses mobililasi, pencacahan, pencucian, hingga diakhiri dengan pengeringan. Seluruh proses tersebut tidak dilakukan secara otomatis secara keseluruhan, hanya 2 diantaranya yang menggunakan mesin optimasi. Pada proses mobililasi ditemukan beberapa kendala ergonomi, karena proses yang dilakukan manual, sehingga pada momen tertentu, operator pada workstation terkait memungkinkan terkena dampak Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan intervensi ergonomi, yaitu dengan melakukan perhitungan dengan assessment tertentu, seperti RULA dan REBA. Setelah dilakukan penelitian didapat keduanya memiliki potensi untuk adanya perbaikan. Didapat nilai RULA sebesar 3 dan REBA sebesar 11. Kedua nilai tersebut diperbaiki dengan melibatkan Material Handling Equipment. Proses perancangan desain produk, difasilitasi oleh metode Ergonomic Function Deployment sebagai acuan dalam proses desain. Produk tersebut berupa Bucket Elevator. Setelah mendapatkan rancangan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan, penelitian berhasil menurunkan nilai grand RULA dan REBA, sebesar 2 dan 6, yang menunjukanadanyaperbaikanpadaaspekergonomi. Abstract Plastic waste is a common object and is often found in various corners of the world. Every yearthe community continues to increase consumption of plastic waste, but it isnot matched by comprehensive waste management. Lestari Green Waste Bank is one of the waste managers who is able to overcome these problems, especially plastic waste. The management carried out by the Waste Bank is passed through the process of mobilization, enumeration, washing, until it ends with drying. The whole process is not done automatically as a whole, only 2 of them use the optimization engine. In the process of mobilization found some ergonomic constraints, because the process is carried out manually, so that at certain moments, the operator at the workstation involved may be affected by Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs).Thustheergonomics intervention needs tobe done, namelyby calculating with certain assessments, such as RULA and REBA. After doing research, it is found that both of them have the potential for improvement. Obtain RULA value of 3 and REBA of 11. Both values are corrected by involving Material Handling Equipment. The product design design process, facilitated by the Ergonomic Function Deployment method as a reference in the design process. The product is a Bucket Elevator. After getting a design that suits your needs, the research succeeded in reducing the value of the grand RULA and REBA,by2and6,whichshowedanimprovementinergonomicaspects.
