Tanaman pakcoy merupakan tanaman sayuran yang dapat tumbuh dengan media tanah dan hidroponik. Pertumbuhan
tanaman dapat dipantau dengan mengetahui lebar daun tanaman tersebut. Penelitian ini menciptakan alat untuk
mendeteksi lebar daun tanaman dengan akurat melalui tumbuh kembang tanaman yang dapat dimonitoring oleh
masyarakat.
Implementasi penelitian berupa aplikasi mobile yang dapat mendeteksi ukuran lebar daun tanaman. Menggunakan
metode canny edge detection memperoleh hasil akurasi sistem 95,06%, intensitas cahaya 18,75 lux, sudut 90o
, dan
pengambilan jarak 30 cm. Pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy yang dilihat selama 4 minggu, akurasi terbaik diperoleh pada
minggu ke-2 dengan akurasi rata-rata 99% dan nilai intensitas cahaya rata-rata 22 lux.

Abstract
Pakcoy plant is a vegetable plant that can grow with soil and hydroponic media. Plant growth can be monitored by
knowing the width of the plant’s leaves. This research creates a tool to accurately detect plant leaf width through
plant growth that can be monitored by the people.
Research implementation in the form of a mobile application that can detect the width of plant leaves. Using the canny
edge detection method, the results obtained system accuracy of 95.06%, light intensity of 18.75 lux, angle of 90o
, and
distance of 30 cm. Pakcoy plant growth was seen for 4 weeks, the best accuracy was obtained at 2nd week with an
average accuracy of 99% and an average light intensity value of 22 lux.
