Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) merupakan salah satu metode yang sering digunakan pada proses
pengendali mutu (Quality Control) dibidang industri. Eddy Current Testing (ECT) adalah salah satu metode
magnetik yang sering digunakan pada pengujian NDT. Pada studi ini, peneliti memanfaatkan kinerja sensor
jarak inframerah yang menggunakan refleksi cahaya inframerah sebagai pengukur jarak.. Sensor jarak
inframerah dipasangkan pada sumbu-x dan sumbu-y alat pemindai untuk membantu menentukan posisi koil
receiver saat melakukan pemindaian. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh hasil
pengukuran pada 16 titik koordinat yang berbeda pada objek uji dengan nilai persentase error pengukuran pada
sumbu-x yaitu 1,22% - 5,77% dan sumbu-y yaitu 0,48% - 6,29%. Pada pengukuran ini juga diperoleh nilai
presisi pengukuran antara 97% - 99,90%. Dari data yang telah diperoleh, hasil data dalam menentukan posisi
koil receiver bagus dan mendekati nilai titik koordinat yang diukur.

Abstract
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a method that is often used in quality control processes in the
industrial sector.
Eddy Current Testing (ECT) is a magnetic method that is often used in NDT testing. In this study, researchers
took advantage of the performance of an infrared distance sensor which uses infrared light reflection as a
distance measure. The infrared distance sensor is mounted on the x-axis and y-axis of the scanner to help
determine the position of the receiver coil when scanning. Based on The test that has been carried out is that the
measurement results are obtained at 16 different coordinate points on the test object with measurement error
value values on the x-axis namely 1.22% - 5.77% and the y-axis namely 0.48% - 6.29%. In this measurement,
measure precision value of 97% - 99.90% was obtained. From the data that has been obtained, the results of the
data in determining the position of the receiver coil are good and are close to the coordinate point value being
measured.
