Perancangan Purwarupa Smart Door Dengan Sistem Autentikasi Face Recognition Berbasis Internet Of Things (iot)

Abstract

Abstrak Keamanan merupakan salah satu masalah penting yang dihadapi banyak orang. Dengan banyaknya kegiatan penghuni yang sering kali mengharuskannya keluar rumah dikarenakan pekerjaan, sekolah, belanja, serta kegiatan-kegiatan lainnya, rumah menjadi lebih rentan terhadap ancaman terutama tindak pencurian. Oleh karena itu keamanan pada rumah harus ditingkatkan. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) yang memungkinkan benda-benda untuk saling bertukar informasi diharapkan juga dapat diintegrasikan dengan sistem keamanan. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan ialah smart door dengan autentikasi face recognition berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keamanan dan mengurangi tingkat pencurian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah purwarupa smart door yang terintegrasi dengan smartphone dimana untuk membuka pintu tersebut menggunakan face recognition dan jika ada seseorang yang tertangkap kamera dan tidak dikenal maka sistem akan mengirim notifikasi kepada pemilik rumah untuk menindaklanjuti hal tersebut, apakah orang tersebut diizinkan untuk masuk atau tidak dan dapat mengaktifkan alarm untuk situasi darurat. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, keseluruhan sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik walaupun tingkat akurasi dari face recognition belum 100%. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan didapat delay rata-rata sebesar 50,066 milisekon dan rata-rata throughput sebesar 41,239 kilobit per sekon. Sistem memiliki reliability sebesar 97,918% dan availability sebesar 97,96%. Due to many activities of people who often require them to leave the house for work, school, shopping, and other activities, the house becomes more vulnerable to threats, especially theft. Therefore, security at home must be increased. With the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which allows objects to exchange information, it is hoped that they can also be integrated with security systems. One of the solutions offered is a smart door with face recognition authentication based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which is expected to increase security and reduce theft rates. This research aims to create a smart door prototype that can be integrated with a smartphone so we can open the door using face recognition and if unknwon people is caught on camera, the system will send a notification to the home owner to follow up on this, whether the person is allowed to enter or not, and can activate the alarm for emergency situations. The whole system can work well even though the accuracy level of face recognition is not 100%. From the tests performed, it was found that the average delay was 50.066 milliseconds and an average throughput of 41.239 kilobits per second.
