Perancangan Dan Implementasi Tes Psikologi Rothwell Miller Interest Blank Berbasis Komputer Dengan Metode Random Forest

Banyak anak masih belum mengetahui minat dan bakat yang ada pada dirinya, oleh karena itu ketika
menginjak bangku perkuliahan banyak anak yang merasa bahwa dirinya mengambil jurusan yang salah.
Bahkan tidak jarang juga orang merasa bahwa dirinya tidak cocok bekerja pada bidang yang sedang
dijalaninya. Salah satu metode untuk mengukur minat sekaligus untuk merekomendasikan tentang jurusan
atau karir sesuai dengan kemampuan nya adalah dengan mengikuti tes psikologi minat dan bakat.
Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan dan implementasi tes psikologi Rothwell Miller Interest Blank
(RMIB) untuk mengetahui minat seseorang berdasarkan pilihan pekerjaan yang diminatinya,
menggunakan aplikasi berbasis komputer dengan pemrograman berbasis web dan menggunakan metode
Random forest. Tes ini mengukur minat seseorang berdasarkan ranking terhadap pekerjaan yang diminati
nya. Penelitian ini di fokuskan kepada mahasiswa, untuk menentukan jenjang karir selanjutnya. Dengan
tes ini diharapkan mahasiswa tidak salah dalam menentukan jenjang karir yang akan di jalani kedepannya.
Keluaran dari aplikasi ini 90% pengguna mendapatkan hasil yang cocok berdasarkan hasil scoring dengan
profesi yang diminatinya. Berdasarkan pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, aplikasi ini mendapatkan 100%
dari total 6 pengujian alpha dan 81,125% dari pengujian usability. Tes psikologi RMIB berbasis komputer
ini sudah di viladasi oleh psikolog dan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan tes psikologi RMIB berbasis kertas.

Abstract
Many children still do not know the interests and talents that exist in them, therefore when they enter college
many children feel that they are taking the wrong major. In fact, it is not uncommon for people to feel that
they are not suitable to work in the field they are doing. One method to measure interest as well as to
recommend a major or career in accordance with their abilities is to take a psychological test of interest and
talent. This study discusses the design and implementation of the Rothwell Miller Interest Blank (RMIB)
psychological test to determine a person's interest based on the choice of the job he is interested in, using
computer-based applications with web-based programming and using the Random Forest method. This test
measures a person's interest based on the ranking of the job that interests him. This research is focused on
students, to determine the next career path. With this test, it is hoped that students will not be wrong in
determining the career path that will be taken in the future. The output of this application is 90% of users
get suitable results based on the scoring results with the profession they are interested in. Based on the tests
that have been done, this application gets 100% of the total 6 alpha tests and 81.125% from usability tests.
This computer-based RMIB psychological test has been tested by a psychologist and can run according to
the paper-based RMIB psychological test.
