Perancangan Sistem Penyimpanan Knowledge Berbasis Web Di Umkm Systone Dengan Metode Waterfall

Knowledge Management dapat membantu sebuah perusahaan dalam transformasi ilmu pengetahuan dari
semua bagian dalam perusahaan, termasuk Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah Systone sebagai perusahaan
industri Clothing yang masih dalam tahap berkembang menjadi perusahaan yang lebih besar dan
pengembaangan produk produk yang bisa memberikan competitive advantage. Untuk meningkatkan
inovasi produk yang baik dibutuhkan sistem penyimpanan knowledge yang mendukung agar
perkembangan produk pada Usaha Mikro, kecil dan menengah lebih dapat bersaing dan meningkatkan
efektifitas dan efisiensi untuk dokumentasi penyimpanan knowledge.
Sistem penyimpanan Knowledge pada Knowledge Management dikembangkan dengan metode waterfall.
Pada tahap pertama ada identifikasi kebutuhan dan pemodelan bisnis. Pada tahap kedua terdiri dari
aktivitas analisis dan perancangan. Selanjutnya masuk ke tahap implementasi dari perancangan yang
sudah dibuat. Setelah itu akan dilakukan pengujian dan berakhir pada tahap pemeliharaan. Pada
penelitian ini user yang menggunakan sistem yang di rancang adalah Owner, bagian inovasi research and
development, dan bagian produksi dan penjualan.
Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terciptanya sistem penyimpanan knowledge berupa database yang terdiri dari
dashboard dan 2 katalog penyimpanan knowledge produk prototype dan produk yang dipasarkan. Untuk
pengembangan lebih lanjut, database yang akan dirancang dapat dilengkapi dengan beberapa detail
informasi yang nantinya akan di-input-kan ke dalam sistem.

Abstract
Knowledge Management can help a company in the transformation of knowledge from all parts of the company,
including Systone Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as a Clothing industry company that is still developing
into a bigger company and product product development that can provide competitive advantage. To increase
good product innovation, a knowledge storage system is needed that supports product development for micro,
small and medium enterprises to be more competitive and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of knowledge
storage documentation.
The Knowledge storage system in Knowledge Management was developed using the waterfall method. In the
first stage there is identification of needs and business modeling. The second stage consists of analysis and
design activities. Then enter the implementation stage of the design that has been made. After that it will be
tested and end at the maintenance stage. In this study, users who use the system designed are Owner, research
and development innovation division, and production and sales division.
The result of this research is the creation of a knowledge storage system in the form of a database consisting of
a dashboard and 2 catalogs of knowledge storage for prototype products and marketed products. For further
development, the database to be designed can be equipped with several detailed information which will be input
into the system.
