Perancangan Kanban Untuk Meminimasi Keterlambatan Pasokan Part Pembangun Pintu Kendaraan Panser Komodo 4x4 Pada Proses Perakitan Di Pt.pindad

Abstract

Abstrak PT. Pindad adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur produk militer dan komersial yang mencakup pada desain dan pengembangan, rekayasa, perakitan dan fabrikasi serta melakukan pengembangan produk militer yang sudah menerapkan Just In Time (JIT) dalam proses produksinya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada door system kendaraan Panser Komodo APC 4X4. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan pada kondisi saat ini PT. PINDAD masih belum dapat menyelesaikan sesuai dengan waktu yang sudah ditetapkan, hal ini terjadi karena adanya keterlambatan yang menyebabkan lini perakitan pintu berhenti berjalan. Keterlambatan pada lini perakitan diakibatkan juga oleh komponen perakitan pintu yang kurang, penyebab dari kurangnya komponen tersebut yaitu tidak adanya sistem kontrol pada area lini perakitan serta kurangnya informasi mengenai bagian yang diperlukan pada proses perakitan, maka dari itu untuk menyelsaikan masalah keterlambatan komponen tersebut diperlukan sistem kontrol yang dapat mengendalikan aliran informasi dan aliran material dengan jumlah dan waktu yang tepat. Penyelesaian permasalahan tersebut menggunakan salah satu alat dari Just In Time yaitu menggunakan Sistem Kanban yang dapat mengkontrol aliran informasi serta aliran material pada setiap komponen pada lini perakitan pintu, sehingga tidak akan terjadinya kekurangan atau kelebihan komponen dan datang dengan tepat waktu. This research focuses on the door system of the Panser Komodo APC 4X4 vehicle. Based on the observations that have been made at the current condition of PT. PINDAD is still unable to complete in accordance with the set time, this happens because of a delay that causes the door assembly line to stop running. Delays in the assembly line are also caused by the lack of door assembly components, the cause of the lack of these components, namely the absence of a control system in the assembly line area and the lack of information about the parts needed in the assembly process, therefore to solve the problem of delay in these components a control system is needed. which can control the flow of information and the flow of material with the right amount and time. The solution to this problem uses one of the tools from Just In Time, namely using the Kanban System which can control the flow of information and the flow of material on each component on the door assembly line, so that there will be no shortages or excess components and arrive on time.
