Perancangan Antar Muka Aplikasi Pencarian Restoran Berdasarkan Metode User Centered Design (Studi Kasus: Restoran Di Kota Padangsidimpuan)

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi, khususnya internet dan pendukung mobilitas yaitu smartphone, dimana masyarakat dengan mudah mencari berita mengenai politik, hukum, kriminal, dan salah satunya wisata kuliner. Masyarakat dapat mengetahui berbagai informasi tentang wisata kuliner, seperti nama restoran, menu dan harga makanan, dan lokasi restoran tersebut. Untuk Kota Padangsidimpuan sendiri belum mempunyai aplikasi maupun website penyedia informasi tentang restoran sehingga masyarakat melakukan browsing di internet yang masih dianggap kurang optimal karena kurang praktis. Dari permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah teknologi berbasis informasi yang dapat membantu pengguna dalam mencari dan memberikan informasi lokasi restoran yang ingin dituju yaitu dengan dirancangnya User Interface (UI) aplikasi pencarian restoran menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD). Aktivitas yang dilakukan adalah membuat User Persona, melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, dan melakukan pengujian menggunakan skala kegunaan pada user. Elisitasi kebutuhan dilakukan terhadap 20 responden. Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan metode User Centered Design terdapat kesimpulan yaitu dari hasil User Persona terdapat goal yang harus dilakukan melalui perancangan aplikasi pencarian restoran, mengetahui kebutuhan pengguna sehingga menghasilkan User Interface dan hasil pengujian usability menggunakan kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS), mendapatkan skor rata-rata 77, yang artinya aplikasi pencarian restoran memperoleh penilaian rancangan dapat diterima atau layak digunakan. The public can find out various information about culinary tourism, such as the name of the restaurant, the menu and price of the food, and the location of the restaurant. For the City of Padangsidimpuan itself, it does not yet have an application or website that provides information about restaurants so that people browse the internet which is still considered less than optimal because it is not practical. From these problems, an information-based technology is needed that can assist users in finding and providing information on the location of the restaurant they want to go to, namely by designing a User Interface (UI) restaurant search application using the User Centered Design (UCD) method. The activities carried out are creating User Personas, identifying user needs, and conducting tests using a usability scale on the user. Needs elicitation was conducted on 20 respondents. From the results of research using the User Centered Design method, there are conclusions, namely from the results ofthe User Persona there are goals that must be carried out through designing a restaurant search application, knowing user needs so as to produce a User Interface and usability testing results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, getting an average score an average of 77, which means the restaurant search application received a design rating of acceptable or suitable for use.
