Analisis Performansi Kapasitas Sistem UVLC Berbasis NOMA dengan Perubahan Metode Alokasi Daya pada Kanal Propagasi NLoS
Abstrak
Underwater Visible Light Communication (UVLC) merupakan salah satu penerapan teknologi VLC yang menggunakan pancaran Light Emitting Diode (LED) pada medium air. UVLC menjadi alternatif yang tepat untuk komunikasi bawah air selain penggunaan gelombang akustik dan radio. Efektivitas biaya dan konsumsi energi yang rendah menjadi keunggulan lainnya. Salah satu kekurangan yang dimiliki UVLC adalah sempitnya bandwidth modulasi sehingga mengakibatkan pengurangan kapasitas yang dicapai sistem. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diimplementasikan Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA). NOMA adalah suatu teknik penggabungan beberapa sinyal yang dibedakan berdasarkan daya tiap user. Dalam sistem NOMA, terdapat superposition coding di sisi pengirim dan successive interference cancellation (SIC) di sisi penerima. Pada Tugas Akhir ini, membandingkan dua metode alokasi daya yaitu Gain Ratio Power Allocation (GRPA) dan Static Power Allocation (SPA). Selain itu, dilakukan juga penelitian pada kanal dengan kondisi terdapat turbulensi dan tanpa adanya turbulensi. Adapun Parameter yang diujikan adalah Signal to Interference Plus Noise Ratio (SINR) serta kapasitas. Hasil simulasi dan analisis didapatkan sistem NOMA-UVLC dengan alokasi daya GRPA lebih stabil dibandingkan dengan alokasi daya SPA dengan rata-rata kenaikan kapasitas 52%. Kapasitas sistem mengalami penurunan pada kondisi turbulensi serta dipengaruhi oleh diterapkannya residu pada proses Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) dibandingkan tidak mengalami residu pada proses SIC.
