Implementasi User-Centered Design dalam Perancangan Model User Experience Aplikasi Berhenti Merokok

Abstrak

Abstrak Merokok merupakan kebiasaan buruk yang telah menjadi penyebab utama munculnya berbagai penyakit. Perlu adanya upaya untuk menghilangkan kebiasaan merokok. Salah satu upaya yang telah dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi mobile untuk menghilangkan kebiasaan merokok yang dilakukan oleh Abdul Karim di Arab Saudi dan telah terbukti dapat mendorong serta memotivasi pengguna untuk berhenti merokok. Namun, hasil penelitian tersebut tidak serta merta dapat digunakan di Indonesia karena perbedaan demografi akan menghasilkan persepsi yang berbeda terhadap user exerience. Akibatnya, tingkat motivasi pengguna yang dihasilkan akan berbeda sehingga memungkinkan pengguna tidak termotivasi untuk berhenti merokok. Oleh karena itu, perlu dibuatkan model user experience untuk aplikasi berhenti merokok yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan demografi di Indonesia menggunakan metode user-centered design yang menitikberatkan pada karakteristik dan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil model user experience (UX) aplikasi berhenti merokok diuji menggunakan user experience questionnaire (UEQ) untuk mengukur model UX yang dibuat. Berdasarkan hasil UEQ, diperoleh aspek attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, dan novely berada pada kategori excellent. Sehingga model UX yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna untuk menjaga konsistensi berhenti merokok.
