Container Stacking System Design On the Backyard of Containers at PT IPC Container Terminal (TPK) Using the Genetic Algorithm Method to Minimize Costs Container Stacking Handling

Abstract

PT. IPC Terminal Petikemas merupakan Perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengelolaan terminal peti kemas. Perusahaan ini berlokasi di Panjang, Bandar Lampung. Terminal ini memegang peranan penting dalam distribusi poduk dari dan ke Pulau Sumatera. Terminal peti kemas merupakan salah satu pilar pendukung kinerja logistik yang baik, oleh karena itu terminal peti kemas harus memiliki kinerja yang optimal. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan terminal peti kemas menunjukkan beberapa permasalaham salahsatunya ketidak seimbangan aktivitas gate in dan gate out yang berdampak capaian container throughput rendah yang disebabkan dari penumpukan container yang terlalu lama. Hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi pengiriman ke pelanggan sehingga perlu mengoptimalkan metode penataan container. Analisa dalam penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma genetika dengan software google colab. Algoritma genetika merupakan metode dalam penentuan urutan penataan container. Jumlah sample pada penelitian ini sebesar 300 container. Berdasarkan simulasi genetic alghorytm, menunjukkan hasil optimal pada turnamen ke dua puluh lima. Proses verifikasi dan validasi menunjukkan bahwa hasil simulasi GA dapat diterapkan di perusahaan. Setelah proses pengolahan, verifikasi dan validasi data dilakukan maka penghematan biaya sebesar 50,79% akan diperoleh perusahaan.
