PEMISAHAN KANDUNGAN MINYAK JELANTAH DALAM PEMBUATAN BIODIESEL BERBASIS ARDUINO

Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan limbah hasil
penggunaan minyak goreng dalam industri kuliner, yang
berpotensi menjadi bahan baku biodiesel. Namun, minyak
jelantah mengandung air dan kontaminan yang perlu
dipisahkan untuk menghasilkan biodiesel berkualitas.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem
pemisahan minyak jelantah berbasis teknologi Internet of
Things (IoT) dengan menggunakan Arduino IDE dan Firebase
untuk monitoring real-time. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan
sensor ultrasonik dan sensor turbidity untuk mendeteksi
kandungan air dalam minyak, serta menggunakan teknologi
IoT untuk mengirimkan data ke aplikasi mobile,
memungkinkan pemantauan jarak jauh dan pengendalian
proses secara otomatis. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan efisiensi
dalam pemisahan dan pengiriman data dengan delay minimal
0,7 detik.
