Perancangan Sistem Monitoring Sepeda Motor Menggunakan Modul Gps Berbasis Android

Abstract

Abstrak Sepeda motor merupakan salah satu alat transportasi yang banyak dipilih masyarakat untuk berpindah tempat. Hal tersebut disebabkan biaya yang lebih minimal dan dapat menghindari macet berkepanjangan. Akantetapi, tingkat kriminalitas terhadap sepeda motor setiap tahun terus meningkat. Hal tersebut mendorong para produsen sepeda motor untuk merancang suatu sistem keamanan yang dapat meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan konsumen dalam menggunakan sepeda motor. Oleh karena itu, dirancanglah suatu sistem yang dapat memantau posisi letak sepeda motor yang dapat dilihat melalui aplikasi android. Secara singkat, pada sepeda motor akan dipasang sebuah mikrokontroller, modul gps, modul SIM800L dan relay. Modul gps berfungsi menentukan koordinat posisi sepeda motor secara real time dan ditampilkan pada aplikasi berbasis android melalui komunikasi serial GPRS menggunakan modul GSM. Relay berfungsi sebagai sistem keamanan yang dirancang untuk memutus aliran listrik dari CDI sepeda motor dan membunyikan alarm (klakson) yang dikontrol melalui aplikasi berbasis android untuk mencegah apabila terjadi tindak kriminal. Hasil Tugas Akhir ini yaitu aplikasi android dapat memantau posisi letak sepeda motor dan menyalakan/mematikan sistem keamanan yang dirancang untuk mencegah tindak kriminalitas terhadap pencurian sepeda motor. This is due to more minimal costs and can avoid prolonged traffic jams. But, the level of crime against motorcycles every year continues to increase. This encourages motorcycle manufacturers to design a security system that can improve the safety and comfort of consumers using motorbikes. Therefore, a system is designed that can monitor the position of the motorcycle that can be seen through the Android application. In short, a motorcycle will be installed in a motorcycle, a GPS module, SIM800L module and relay. The GPS module functions to determine the coordinates of the position of the motorcycle in real time and displayed on an android-based application via GPRS serial communication using a GSM module. Relay serves as a security system that is designed to cut off electricity from CDI motorcycles and sound an alarm (horn) that is controlled through an Android-based application to prevent criminal acts. The result of this Final Project is that the android application can monitor the position of the motorcycle and turn on / off the security system designed to prevent criminal acts against motorcycle theft.
