Abstract

Abstrak Konstruksi biogas mobile menjadi salah satu solusi dalam penggunaan biogas skala rumah tangga yang murah dan mudah pengoperasiannya serta dapat digerakkan dengan bebas dan mudah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membandingan wet dan dry digester terhadap produksi biogas rumah tangga mobile. Dilakukan penelitian pendahuluan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui temperatur yang dapat dicapai dengan menggunakan sistem wet digester dan dry digester dengan variasi dengan insulator dan tanpa insulator. Dry digester memiliki produksi biogas lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan wet digester. Dry digester dengan insulator rockwool memiliki produksi biogas tertinggi sebesar 49,1 - 50,2 liter. Wet digester dengan insulator rockwool memiliki produksi biogas terendah sebesar 25,88 – 30,76 liter. Namun wet digester dengan insulator rockwool memiliki produksi gas methana tertinggi sebesar 31,76%. Digester dengan EM4 weight ratio 9% memiliki produksi biogas lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan EM4 weight ratio 5 dan 7%. Wet dan dry digester dengan EM4 weight ratio 9% memilki produksi biogas sebesar 30,76 – 31 liter dan 47,60 – 50,2 liter. Wet digester dengan EM4 weight ratio 9% memiliki produksi gas methana tertinggi sebesar 31,76%. This research was conducted with the aim of comparing wet and dry digesters to biogas production of mobile households. Dry digester has higher biogas production compared to wet digester. Dry digester with rockwool insulator has the highest biogas production of 49,1 – 50,2 liters. Wet digester with rockwool insulator has the lowest biogas production of 25,88 – 30,76 liters. However, wet digester with rockwool insulator has the highest methane gas production of 31,76%. Digester with an EM4 weight ratio of 9% has higher biogas production compared to EM4 weight ratio 5 and 7%.
