Analisis Metode Optimum Unequal Channel Sepparation Pada Efek Four Wave Mixing Dalam Sistem Ng-pon2

Abstract

Abstrak NG-PON2 merupakan teknologi di bidang komunikasi serat optik yang paling baru. Meskipun begitu dalam Next Generation Gigabit Passive Optical Network Stage 2 (NG-PON2) sendiri masih terdapat efek non linier yang dapat menurunkan performansi, salah satunya adalah Four Wave Mixing (FWM). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sistem NG-PON2 dengan jarak 30 km serta menggunakan bitrate masing-masing 40 Gbps untuk upstream dan 10 Gbps untuk downstream. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini antara lain nilai Power Received setelah menggunakan Optimum Golomb Ruler (OGR) mengalami kenaikan sebesar 0,17-0,23% dengan nilai terbesar -22,22 dB, nilai Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) setelah OGR diterapkan mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai terbesar 36,16 dB, Nilai Q-Factor dan Bit Error Rate (BER) setelah penerapan OGR mengalami peningkatan pada jarak 25-30 km. Kata kunci : NG-PON2, Four Wave Mixing, Optimum Golomb Ruler. Abstract NG-PON2 is the most recent technology in the field of fiber optic communication. Even so, in the Next Generation Passive Optical Network 2 Stage 2 (NG-PON2) there are still non-linear effects that can reduce performance, one of which is Four Wave Mixing (FWM). This research was conducted on NG-PON2 systems with a distance of 30 km and using each bitrate of 40 Gbps for upstream and 10 Gbps for downstream. The results obtained in this study include the value of Power Received after using OGR has increased by 0.17-0.23\% with the largest value of -22.22 dB, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) value after OGR applied has increased with the greatest value 36.16 dB, Q-Factor Value and Bit Error Rate (BER) after OGR implementation have increased at a distance of 25-30 km.
