Analisis Pengaruh Full Width Half Maximum Terhadap Jarak Maksimal Antara Source Ke Receiver Pada Sistem Visible Light Communication

Abstract

Abstrak Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sedang berkembang dengan cepat. Visible Light Communication (VLC) adalah perkembangan teknologi komunikasi yang multi fungsi untuk memenuhi dua kebutuhan manusia yaitu penerangan dan konektivitas internet. Namun pada kenyataan penerapan teknologi ini perlu memiliki standar parameter untuk tercapainya mobilitas pengguna yang maksimal dan juga konsumsi energi yang minim guna menciptakan teknologi multifungsi dan efesien. Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM) adalah salah satu parameter yang mempengaruhi kinerja sistem VLC khusus nya pada sisi transmitter. Ideal nya FWHM ditentukan berdasarkan kebutuhan, namun guna menjawab tantangan mobilitas user yang terbatas maka FWHM ideal perlu ditentukan. Hasil yang didapatkan dengan performansi keberhasilan sistem adalah BER 10-3 adalah 22,72 meter persegi dari luas keseluruhan ruangan 25 meter persegi pada rentang FWHM 70º - 85º. Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a development of multi-functional communication technology to meet two human needs, namely lighting and internet connectivity. But in reality the application of this technology needs to have a standard parameter to achieve maximum user mobility and also efficient energy consumption in order to answer existing problems. Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM) is one of the parameters that affects the performance of the VLC system specifically on the side of transmitter. The ideal of FWHM is determined based on needs, but in order to answer the challenges of limited user mobility, the ideal FWHM needs to be determined. The results obtained with the system's successful performance are BER 10-3 is 22,72 meters from the total area of the room 25 meters in the FWHM range 70º - 85º.
