Analisis Implementasi Metode Ucd Dalam Perancangan Sistem Pembelajaran Bahasa Ekspresif Untuk Digunakan Terapis Wicara Terhadap Penyandang Sindrom Asperger

Sindrom Asperger adalah sebuah kelainan yang menunjukan keunikan perilaku, cara berpikir, dan
berkomunikasi. Mereka memiliki kesulitan dalam melakukan komunikasi, membaca bahasa tubuh, sulit untuk
memahami emosi dan juga mengungkapkan emosi, permasalahan ini akan mengganggu dalam kehidupan
penyandang Asperger apabila tidak ditanggulangi sejak dini. Penanggulangan yan dapat dilakukan adalah berupa
terapi, terapi yang dilakukan guna memperbaiki dan mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi adalah berupa
terapi wicara. Dengan seiringnya perkembangan teknologi yang ada bermunculan teknologi yang dapat
membantu aktivitas terapi wicara yang dilakukan, akan tetapi masih sedikitnya teknologi yang dikembangkan
khusus untuk mendampingi aktivitas terapi wicara menjadi perhatian utama, apakah proses pengembangan
teknologi untuk penyandang Sindrom Asperger dan terapi wicara memiliki kendala, ataukah metode
pengembangan teknologi yang digunakan masih belum sesuai, Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan
sistem pembelajaran Bahasa ekspresif untuk digunakan terapis wicara terhadap penyandang sindrom Asperger
saat aktivitas terapi dilakukan, pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) yaitu
metode pengembangan dimana pengguna utama dari sistem adalah pusat dari proses pengembangan, metode ini
menempatkan kebutuhan dan evaluasi pengguna di posisi yang sangat penting. Peneliti bertujuan untuk
menganalisis apakah metode UCD merupakan metode yang tepat digunakan dan juga melihat faktor Usability
nya pada pengguna terapis dan penyandang Sindrom Asperger. Hasil yang dicapai adalah berupa prototype
sistem/aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa ekspresif yang dapat digunakan terapis wicara kepada penyandang sindrom
Asperger, setelah di evaluasi memiliki hasil kriteria usability yang bagus dan dapat membantu aktivitas terapis
saat terapi dilakukan

Abstract
Asperger's Syndrome is a disorder that shows the uniqueness of behavior, ways of thinking, and communicating.
They have difficulties in communicating, reading body language, it is difficult to understand emotions and also
express emotions, these problems will interfere in the life of the person with Asperger if it is not addressed early.
Mitigation that can be done is in the form of therapy, the therapy is speech therapy. therapy is carried out to
develop the ability of people with Asperger's Syndrome to communicate with other individuals and to make twoway

communication that are difficult task for people with Asperger's Syndrome. With the development of
existing technology, emerge technology that can help speech therapy activities, but there still a few technology
that are developed specifically to accompany speech therapy activities is a major concern, whether the
technology development process for people with Asperger's Syndrome and speech therapy has obstacles, or
methods the development of the technology used is still not appropriate? In this study, the development of an
expressive language learning system for speech therapists with Asperger's syndrome when therapy activities are
carried out, system development uses the User Centered Design (UCD) method, which is the development
method where the main user of the system is the center user needs and evaluation in a very important position.
The researcher aimed to analyze whether the UCD method was the right method to use and also looked at its
Usability factor for therapist users and those with Asperger's Syndrome. The results achieved are in the form of a
system prototype / application of expressive language learning that can be used by speech therapists toward
persons with Asperger's syndrome, after evaluation has the results of good usability criteria and can help the
speech therapy activities
