Meme adalah konten populer yang dibuat, diimitasikan dan disebarkan melalui internet layaknya sebuah virus yang menyebar dengan cepat ke tubuh manusia. Meme adalah suatu fenomena penyebaran sekelompok konten digital dengan karakteristik, bentuk dan sikap yang umum, yang dibuat dengan kesadaran bersama, disebarkan, diimitasikan dan ditransformasikan melalui internet oleh banyak orang. Kemudahan dalam menyebarkan informasi melalui internet didukung juga degan kehadiran platform yang memudahkan untuk mengolah informasi seperti media sosial, website yang dapat mengakses informasi dan menciptakan media sendiri. Pada awal tahun 2019 muncul fenomena tentang viralnya salah satu meme artis yaitu Vanessa Angel. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna denotasi, konotasi dan mitos meme fenomena meme Vanessa Angel. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, paradigme deskriptif kualitatif dan semiotika. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah meme ini mengandung feminisme dalam bentuk perempuan sebagai objek seksual. Kata Kunci : Meme, Konten, Viralitas

Abstract
Memes are popular content that is created, imitated and distributed via the internet like a virus that spreads rapidly to the human body. Meme is a phenomenon of the spread of a group of digital content with common characteristics, forms and attitudes, which are made with shared awareness, disseminated, imitated and transformed through the internet by many people. The ease of disseminating information through the internet is also supported by the presence of platforms that make it easy to process information such as social media, websites that can access information and create their own media. In early 2019 there was a phenomenon about the virus of one of the meme artists, Vanessa Angel. The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of the denotation, connotation and myth of the meme phenomenon Vanessa Angel. The study uses qualitative methods, qualitative descriptive paradigms and semiotics. The conclusion from this study is that this meme contains feminism in the form of women as sexual objects.
