Pengaruh Kompetensi Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi Dan Pengembangan Karir Terhadap Kinerja Bintara Generasi Y (studi Kasus Pada Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat)

Abstract

Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi saat ini mempengaruhi berbagai bidang karier termasuk salah satunya adalah angkatan bersenjata. Peningkatan jumlah teknologi menciptakan pekerjaan untuk diisi oleh mereka yang dapat menggunakannya. Karir di militer terus meningkat seiring evolusi terjadi pada zaman modern. Saat ini teknologi dikuasi oleh generasi Y atau yang biasa disebut generasi milenial. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah anggota Bintara di Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat, karena posisi bintara dianggap menjadi salah satu posisi yang paling aktif dalam pelaksanaan tugas dan usia pada Bintara sebagian besar tergolong masih muda artinya generasi milenial banyak ditemukan pada posisi Bintara Penelitian ini dilakukan di Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat dengan kompetensi penggunaan teknologi informasi dan pengembangan karir sebagai variabel bebas serta kinerja sebagai variabel terikat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi penggunaan teknologi informasi, pengembangan karir dan kinerja Bintara di Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan anggota Bintara Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat yang termasuk dalam Generasi Y (rentang umur 16-37 tahun). Metode yang diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan tujuan penelitian deskriptif. Analisis data pada penelitian ini melalui analisis statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heterokedastisitas, analisis regresi berganda, koefisien determinasi, uji hipoteis Uji T dan Uji F. Berdasarkan hasil uji dan analisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi penggunaan teknologi informasi dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja Bintara sebesar 69%. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi masukan untuk Bintara Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat, Sebaiknya bagi Bintara lebih memahami bahasa komputer dengan dibantu dengan rekan binatara lainnya untuk berbagi informasi atau dengan smartphone dan internet untuk menyelesaikan bagaimana cara mengakses informasi. Serta diharapkan adanya mengevaluasi atas apa yang telah dikerjakan oleh anggota dan begitu juga evaluasi pekerjaan. Abstract Current technological advances affect various fields of careers including one of them is the armed forces. An increasing number of technologies create jobs to be filled by those who can use them. Career in the military continues to increase as evolution takes place in modern times. Currently the technology is controlled by generation Y or commonly called millennial generation. The object of this research is the members of Bintara in the Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat, because the position of non-commissioned officers is considered to be one of the most active positions in the implementation of tasks and age at Bintara, mostly classified as young, meaning that millennials are found in the position of Bintara. This research was conducted at the Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat with competency in the use of information technology and career development as the independent variable and performance as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence in the use of information technology, career development and performance of Bintara in the Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat. The population in this study is a Bintara of the Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat which belongs to Generation Y (age range 16-37 years). The method applied in this study is a quantitative method with descriptive research objectives. Analysis of the data in this study through descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocedasticity test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, hypotension test T test and F test. competence of using information technology and career development has a significant effect on the performance of Bintara by 69%. The results of this study are expected to provide input for the Bintara Direktorat Peralatan Angkatan Darat. Bintara should better understand computer language with the help of other binatara colleagues to share information or with smartphones and the internet to resolve how to access information. And it is hoped that there will be an evaluation of what the members have done and so will the job evaluation.
