Pengaruh Mata Kuliah Kewirausahaan Terhadap Minat Berwirausaha Di Kalangan Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Elektro Angkatan 2016

Pada Universitas Telkom, pendidikan kewirausahaan masuk dalam kurikulum pembelajaran pada fakultas teknik yang
mewajibkan mahasiswa menempuh mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Harapan terdapat munculnya entrepreneur dari
kalangan mahasiswa fakultas teknik ini mahasiswa dituntut memiliki jiwa berwirausaha khususnya yang akan terjun
menjadi technopreneur solusi yang relevan untuk diwujudkan karena angka pengangguran yang cenderung meningkat
setiap tahunnya. Setelah dilakukan pra-survey terdapat kesimpulan bahwa kalangan mahasiswa fakultas teknik elektro
lebih memilih bekerja setelah lulus kuliah dibandingkan berwirausaha, hal ini menjadi indikasi rendahnya minat
berwirausaha pada mahasiswa fakultas teknik elektro.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis regresi sederhana.
Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode non-probability sampling, dengan jumlah responden pada penelitian
ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas teknik elektro angkatan 2016 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 orang.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif diketahui bahwa mata kuliah kewirausahaan dan minat berwirausaha berada
dalam kategori baik dengan nilai sebesar 77,90% dan 77,40%.
Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis mata kuliah kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat
berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa fakultas teknik elektro angkatan 2016. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi
menunjukkan nilai R Square berpengaruh sebesar 59,8% sedangkan sisanya 40,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain
yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini, sepertiself-efficacy, latar belakang keluarga, sikap, persepsi, motivasi, karakter
wirausaha dan lainnya.

Abstract
At Telkom University, entrepreneurship education is included in the learning curriculum at the engineering faculty,
which requires students to take entrepreneurship courses. It is hoped that there will be an emergence of entrepreneurs
among students of the engineering faculty. Students are required to have an entrepreneurial spirit, especially those
who will plunge into technopreneurs, a relevant solution to be realized because the unemployment rate tends to
increase every year. After conducting a pre-survey, there was a conclusion that students from the electrical
engineering faculty prefer to work after graduating from college rather than entrepreneurship, this is an indication
of the low interest in entrepreneurship among students of the electrical engineering faculty.
This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods and simple regression analysis. Sampling was
carried out by non-probability sampling method, with the number of respondents in this study were students of the
electrical engineering faculty class of 2016 with a total of 100 respondents.Based on the results of descriptive analysis
it is known that the entrepreneurship course and interest in entrepreneurship are in the good category with values of
77.90% and 77.40%.
Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the entrepreneurship course has a significant effect on the interest in
entrepreneurship among students of the electrical engineering faculty class of 2016. The results of the coefficient of
determination show that the value of R Square has an effect of 53.5% while the remaining 46.5% is influenced by
other variables not examined in the study, such as self-efficacy, family background, attitude, perception, motivation,
