Pengaruh Perilaku Bermediasi Komputer Terhadap Tipologi Pola Komunikasi Keluarga Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Abstrak Di masa pandemi COVID-19 ini, banyak mahasiswa yang terpisah dari keluarganya karena satu dan berbagai hal salah satunya ialah Pembatasan Sosial berskala Besar. Namun, proses komunikasi antar anggota keluarga masih tetap berjalan meskipun terhalang pandemi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh percarakan bermediasi computer pada pola komunikasi keluarga serta factor percakapan bermediasi computer apa yang mempengaruhi pola komunikasi keluarga di masa pandemi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 64 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh percakapan bermediasi computer terhadap pola komunikasi keluarga selama pandemi sebesar 77.3%. Pada masing-masing kategori pola komunikasi keluarga, komunikasi bermediasi computer memiliki pengaruh yang positif kecuali pada keluarga Protektif yang memberikan pengaruh negative pada pola komunikasi keluarga. Dari hal ii dapat dilihat bahwa perbedaan elemen komunikasi yang dimediasi computer juga mempengaruhi struktur percakapan dan konformitas yang berbeda-beda dalam tiap pola komunikasi keluarga. However, the communication process between family members is still ongoing even though it is hindered by the pandemic. This study aims to understand the effect of computermediated communications on family communication patterns as well as what computer-mediated factors affect family communication patterns during a pandemic. The research method used is quantitative with the number of respondents as many as 64 people. The results showed that there was an effect in computermediated patterns of family communication during the pandemic by 77.3%. In each category of family communication patterns, computer mediated communication has a positive effect, except for protective families which have a negative influence on family communication patterns. From this it can be seen from the difference in the elements of computer-mediated communication that can also affect the different structures and conformities in each family communication pattern.
