Fesyen Musik Hardcore Sebagai Identitas Diri Penggemar dan Komunitas Musik Hardcore di Kota Bandung
Abstrak
Fesyen musik hardcore memiliki identitas, sehingga bagaimana musik hardcore bukan hanya sekadar musik.
Orang memanfaatkan musik sebagai sumber daya untuk membangun identitas individu dan kolektif. Fesyen dan
identitas juga terbentuk melalui budaya berbasis selebriti atau artis, seperti musisi dan grup band. Penelitian ini
dilakukan untuk mengetahui fesyen musik hardcore sebagai identitas diri penggemar dan komunitas di Kota
Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, mengonsepkan dan mendeskripsikan
apa saja yang melatarbelakangi penerapan fesyen hardcore terhadap penggemar dan komunitas musik hardcore di
Kota Bandung. Selain itu juga melihat bagaimana perkembangan fesyen hardcore di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini
dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif lewat pendekatan fenomenologi. Adapun konsep dan teori yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni fesyen dan identitas, konseptualisasi subkultur, fandom dan identitas, dan
terakhir ditunjang oleh teori stimulus-organism-respon. Sebagai informan kunci, dipilihlah 3 orang yang bisa
menjawab penelitian ini dan sekaligus mewakili penggemar dan komunitas musik hardcore di Kota
BandungPeneliti menemukan hasil bahwasanya fesyen yang digunakan para penggemar dan komunitas musik
hardcore menunjukan identitas. Para penggemar dan komunitas ingin diidentifikasi sebagai seorang yang
memiliki ketertarikan dengan musik hardcore.
