Analisis Hubungan Authentic Leadership Terhadap Self-efficacy Pada Business Coach

Abstract

Abstrak Business coach sebagai pemimpin coaching membantu pelaku UMKM mengklarifikasi tujuan, sasaran bisnis, dan mengembangkan keterampilan serta menentukan sumber daya yang dibutuhkan untuk menjadi perusahaan yang sukses. Gaya kepemimpinan otentik (authentic leadership) diterapkan pada business coach dalam rangka meningkatkan self efficacy dari seorang entrepreneur. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada business coach dengan menggunakan authenthic leadership sebagai variabel independen dan self-efficacy sebagai variabel dependen. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara authentic leadership terhadap peningkatan self-efficacy pada business coach. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner dengan 100 responden, persepsi business coaches terhadap variabel authentic leadership tergolong baik dan persepsi terhadap variabel self-efficacy tergolong sangat baik. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada persepsi buruk atau rendah yang dinilai oleh business coaches terhadap variabel authentic leadership dan self-efficacy. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara authentic leadership terhadap self-efficacy yaitu sebesar 0,509 menunjukkan arah hubungan yang positif dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Hubungan positif berarti bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi business coaches terhadap authentic leadership yang diterapkan, maka semakin tinggi tingkat self-efficacy yang dirasakan oleh business coach. Authentic leadership berkontribusi sebesar 25,9% terhadap selfefficacy. Hasil perhitungan kontribusi tersebut, dapat dijadikan sebuah prediksi bahwa autherntic leadership dapat berpengaruh kecil terhadap self-efficacy pada business coach. Authentic leadership style is applied to business coach in order to increase self efficacy from an entrepreneur. This research is conducted on business coach by using authenthic leadership as independent variable and self-efficacy as dependent variable. This research aims to know authentic leadership relation to increase selfefficacy in business coach. Based on the results of questionnaires with 100 respondents, business coaches perceptions of the authentic leadership variables are good and the perception of the selfefficacy variable is very good. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no bad or low perception assessed by the business coaches against the variables of authentic leadership and self-efficacy. Based on the results of correlation analysis shows there is a positive relationship between authentic leadership to self-efficacy that is equal to 0,509 which shows the direction of a positive relationship and included in the category of being. A positive relationship means that the higher the business coaches' perceptions of authentic leadership are applied, the higher the level of self-efficacy perceived by the business coach. Authentic leadership contributes 25.9% to self-efficacy The results of the contribution calculation, can be a prediction that autherntic leadership can have little effect on self-efficacy in business coach.
