Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuanuntukmengetahui motivasi karyawansertafaktor-faktorapasajayangdapatmempengaruhimotivasikaryawandiPTPNIX(Persero)KebunBatujamus.Metodeyangdigunakandalampenelitianiniadalahanalisisstatistikdeskriptifdenganteknikanalisisfaktor.Sampelyangdigunakanadalah320darijumlahpopulasi1571karyawanPTPNIX(Persero)KebunBatujamus.Motivasikaryawandiukur
melaluipenyebarankuesionerdengan56itempernyataan.HasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwamotivasikaryawandiPTPNIX(Persero)KebunBatujamustermasukdalamkategoritinggiyaitumotivasiintrinsik
sebesar72,82%,sedangkanmotivasiekstrinsiksebesar74,40%.Untukhasilanalisisfaktordiperoleh13faktoryangmempengaruhimotivasikaryawan.Faktortersebutantaralainsupervision(4,81),workingconditions(3,829),relationshipwithpeers(3,405),promotion(3,222),training(3,082),fringebenefit(2,955),pay(2,828),

Abstract

ThisstudyaimstodeterminethemotivationofemployeesandanyfactorsthatcanaffectthemotivationofemployeesinPTPNIX(Persero)KebunBatujamus.Themethodusedinthisresearchisdescriptivestatisticalanalysiswithfactoranalysistechniques.Thesamplesusedwere320ofatotalpopulationof1571employeesofPTPNIX(Persero)KebunBatujamus.Themotivatorsweremeasuredbyworkvaluesquestionnaire(WVQ)with56items.TheresultsshowedthatthemotivationofemployeesinPTPNIX(Persero)KebunBatujamusincludedinthehighcategorythatintrinsicmotivationby72.82%,whiletheextrinsicmotivationof74.40%.Fortheresultsofthefactoranalysisobtained13factorsthataffectemployeemotivation.Thesefactorsincludesupervision(4,81),workingconditions(3,829),relationshipwithpeers(3,405),promotion(3,222),training(3,082),fringebenefit(2,955),pay(2,828),responsibility(2,483),managementstrategies(2,380),recognition(2,348), task interest (2,220), consideration of ideas (1,910), dan ethics (1,894).Keywords:motivation,characteristicsofrespondents,HerzbergTwoFactor’sTheory,factoranalysis.
