Abstract

Abstrak Provider telekomunikasi di Indonesia mulai gencar meningkatkan penetrasi fixed broadband melalui kabel fiber optik dengan teknologi yang dinamakan dengan passive optical network (PON). Tantangan penyedian fixed broadband ini membutuhkan kecepatan dan juga pembangunan jaringan broadband yang handal untuk meminimalisir biaya dan juga redaman (loss). Hasil perancangan dihasilkan nilai Power link budget downstream sebesar -14.652 dan upstream -15.825 untuk Cluster Cemara. Nilai Power link budget downstream untuk Cluster Cempaka sebesar -14.618 dan upstream -15.925 dengan perhitungan manual. Nilai tersebut masih dikatakan layak karena masih diatas -28 dBm. Untuk Perhitungan rise time budget tidak melebihi batas minimal 70% NRZ dan bit error rate tidak melebihi 10-9 .
