Perancangan Dan Implementasi Database Server Dengan Mariadb Dan Linux Centos (studi Kasus: Pt. Infomedia Nusantara)

Abstract

Abstrak Dijaman modern seperti sekarang, banyak sekali perusahaan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Salah satunya adalah PT.Infomedia Nusantara, Server sebagai penyedia layanan pada jaringan komputer memiliki peranan penting diperusahaan, perusahaan memiliki sertifikat ISO 9001 karena telah diakui memiliki standar internasional. Diantara lain, memiliki lisensi Structured Query Language (SQL) dan Operating System (OS) pada servernya sebagai salah satu penilaian mutu pada perusahaan tersebut. Harga lisensi sangatlah mahal jika perusahaan memiliki server yang sangat banyak, maka akan membebankan perusahaan dengan biaya yang sangat besar. Pada Proyek Akhir ini telah dibangun sebuah database server dengan memanfaatkan database management system (DBMS) MariaDB dan OS Linux CentOS yang berbasis open source yang sudah diimplementasikan di PT.Infomedia Nusantara. Hasil uji Proyek Akhir ini, disimpulkan bahwa performa database memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan dengan uji performa dan dari hasil nilai survey karyawan dengan nilai 4, terbukti sistem memenuhi syarat untuk diimplementasikan dan membantu perusahaan menekan biaya lisensi pada server hingga 0% dan tetap mempertahankan standar ISO 9001 di PT.Infomedia Nusantara. Infomedia Nusantara, Server as a service provider on computer networks has an important role in the company, the company has an ISO 9001 certificate because it has been recognized as having international standards. License prices are very expensive if the company has a very large server, it will charge the company at a very large cost. In this Final Project a database server has been built by utilizing MariaDB's database management system (DBMS) and CentOS Linux OS based on open source that has been implemented in PT. Infomedia Nusantara. The results of this Final Project test, concluded that the database performance meets the needs of the company with performance tests and from the results of the survey value of employees with a value of 4, it is proven that the system meets the requirements to be implemented and helps companies reduce licensing costs on servers up to 0% while maintaining ISO 9001 standards in PT Infomedia Nusantara..
