Optimasi Jaringan Umts Untuk Layanan Voice Dan Data Pada Wilayah Tol Cileunyi-pasteur, Kota Bandung

Abstrak

ABSTRAK Performansi jaringan selular Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS) di suatu daerah, layanan voice dan data menjadi hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan. Karena dengan layanan voice dan data ini performansi jaringan selular dapat terlihat dari area cakupan yang dapat terlayani dengan baik. Pada kasus UMTS sering terjadi kasus drop call maupun block call yang disebabkan oleh kualitas jaringan yang buruk. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan suatu proses teknik optimisasi tentunya dengan memperhatikan nilai-nilai layanan voice dan data yang harus sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam proyek akhir ini studi kasus di daerah Tol Cileunyi-Pasteur kota Bandung dengan menitik beratkan pada masalah layanan voice dan data untuk jaringan 3G XL. Kemudian dilakukan kegiatan optimization dan drive test pada jaringan 3G XL layanan voice dan data. Kegiatan optimization merupakan sebuah tindakan untuk menganalisa masalah dan juga membuat sebuah analisa keputusan untuk memperbaiki masalah layanan voice dan data yang terjadi dari nilai-nilai parameter dari hasil data drive test. Kemudian kegiatan Drive Test merupakan sebuah tindakan collect data dari hasil pengukuran kualitas jaringan dengan menggunakan bantuan software TEMS Investigation 11.0.1 Data Collection. Nilai-nilai parameter yang harus terpenuhi pada KPI layanan voice yaitu, Received Signal Code Power (RSCP), Chip Energy Over Noice (Ec/No), Call Setup Success Ratio (CSSR), Call Dropped Ratio (CDR), Successful Call Ratio (SCR). Kemudian nilai-nilai parameter yang harus terpenuhi pada KPI Download yaitu PS Throughput. Dari nilai-nilai parameter diatas maka dapat dilakukan optimasi jaringan UMTS di daerah Tol Cileunyi-Pasteur. Kata Kunci : Drive Test, Optimization, UMTS, TEMS, KPI Parameter. Optimization activity is an action to analyze the problem and also make an analysis of the decision to fix the problem of voice and data services that occur from the values of the parameters of the data drive test results. Then activities Test Drive is an action collect data from network quality measurement results with the help of software TEMS Investigation 11.0.1 Data Collection.
