Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan industri fesyen yang sangat pesat di Indonesia membuat tren baru terus bermunculan, tidak terkecuali dalam kategori busana bridal. Seorang bridal designer dituntut untuk mengikuti tren pasar hingga tanpa disadari proses produksi tersebut menghasilkan limbah yang cukup banyak. . Limbah tekstil dari rumah mode bridal kemudian dibuang begitu saja, sehingga tidak dilakukan pengolahan lebih lanjut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini berpotensi untuk mengolah kembali material limbah produksi secara optimal untuk menjadikannya produk tas. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu optimalisasi limbah rumah mode bridal di kota Bandung dengan teknik surface textile design.
