Eksplorasi Teknik Eco Dyeing Dengan Memanfaatkan Tanaman Sebagai Pewarna Alam Untuk Produk Lifestyle

Abstrak

Nature is the closest thing to our daily and often becoming an inspiration for making art. Textiles experiment are being done by using 100% natural material in order to increase product’s value and its prestige. Material choosen is silk and the plants are eucalyptus, daisy and rose. Textile technique experiment used is eco dyeing which utilize natural material and finished with steaming process. The outcome from this research is a piece of fabric with soft and unstriking colour. The purpose of this research is not to make significant impact to environment, but it’s only for enrich the knowledge in natural dyes.
