Analisis Implementasi Sistem Policy Charging Pada Indonesia Wifi Service Set Identfier Flashzone-Seamless

Abstract

Abstrak Wi-Fi flashzone-seamless adalah teknologi terbaru dari Telkomsel yang memanfaatkan jaringan Wi-Fi Telkom sebagai jaringan seluler tambahan untuk mendukung layanan data. Tujuan dari Wi-Fi Offload Telkomsel ini adalah untuk memberikan pengalamanan ber-internet dengan kecepatan dan kestabilan tinggi dan lebih nyaman bagi pelanggan paket data Telkomsel.Saat ini penggunaan flashzone-seamless oleh pelanggan Telkomsel masih diberikan secara gratis untuk menggunakan network WIFI dengan SSID flashzone-seamless kepada semua pelanggan yang telah berlangganan paket data flash. Kedepan, PT. Telekomunikasi Seluler, Tbk dan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk menginginkan adanya revenue tambahan dari flashzone-seamless ini, dimana di network WIFI juga perlu adanya paket-paket yang dapat dibeli oleh pelanggan, seperti halnya pada data paket di selular. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah system yang dapat melakukan policy charging dalam pemakaian WIFI. Berdasarkan tujuan tersebut maka dibutuhkan sebuah analisis studi kasus mengenai system policy charging pada Indonesia Wi-Fi (ssid: flashzone-seamless). Pada penelitian Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan studi kasus pada konfigurasi jaringan Indonesia Wi-Fi (ssid: flashzone-seamless). Dimana pada konfigurasi jaringan yang telah ada masih belum dapat menerapkan system policy charging. Dari tugas akhir ini dihasilkan konfigurasi jaringan yang sesuai sehingga layanan Wi-Fi Flashzone-Seamless dapat mendukung sistem policy charging dengan success rate yang didapat sebesar 94,8% dan availability 98,85%. The purpose of Wi-Fi Offload Telkomsel is to give an experience of high speed and stability internet and more convenient for Telkomsel data packets customers. Currently flashzone-seamless that used by customers of Telkomsel is free of charge to use the WIFI network with the SSID flashzone-seamless to all customers who have subscribed to flash data packet. In the future, PT. Telekomunikasi Seluler, Tbk and PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk want any additional revenue from flashzone-seamless, WIFI network also need for packages that can be purchased by customers, as well as on mobile packet data. Therefore we need a system that can handle the charging policy on WIFI. Based on these objectives we need an analysis of the charging policy system in Indonesia Wi-Fi (ssid: flashzone-seamless). On this final project research, will be done a study case on Indonesia wifi network configuration. Where in the existed network configuration, there still can’t implementing policy charging system. The final project result is produced appropriate network configuration to serve Wi-Fi Flashzone-Seamless service that supports the policy charging system with success rate 94,8% and availability 98,85%.
